UNISA registration dates 2021 have now been released!  You can register for Term 1 2021 during the period outlined below. UNISA has said that they will give further information after the 30th November, and we will pass on that information as soon as we have it.

UNISA registration dates 2021

  • 3 – 26 January 2021: Semester 1 registration for undergraduate qualifications (including registrations for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education, PGCE)
  • 3 January – 9 March 2021 Year module registration for undergraduate qualifications
  • 3 – 26 January 2021 registration for CTA & MCompt
  • 3 January – 31 March 2021 registration for Honours; Postgraduate Diplomas & Master’s and Doctoral Qualifications

New registration period

Students have been used to being able to register for the following year from November the previous year.

For now UNISA has removed this early registration period, and you can only register for 2021 in 2021.

This means that for active students who registered quickly you have lost up to 6 weeks of study time.

We highly recommend that you register as early as possible in the new year to ensure that you are processed and receive your study material in good time to send in your first assignment.

First Apply, THEN register

Remember that before you can register at UNISA you first need to successfully apply at the institution, and and be accepted.

It is quite a complicated process, and you need to ensure that you submit every document in exactly the format that UNISA requires it.  If you don’t you will not be accepted, and you will have to apply again the following year.
